NATHAN HODGSON
for PRESIDENT
Trusted Leadership. Proven Service. Brotherhood First.
With more than 20 years of union membership, I have dedicated my career to serving our Brothers and Sisters with integrity, transparency, and accountability. After completing a four-year apprenticeship, I advanced through the trade as a Journeyman, and Foreman, gaining firsthand experience at every level and understanding what true leadership on the jobsite means.
I earned the trust of the membership by standing shoulder to shoulder with them on the job and continuing that service through union leadership. I have proudly served as:
- Local President
- Vice President
- Recording Secretary
- Treasurer
- Delegate to the Regional Council
- Three-time Delegate to the National Convention
In addition, I have had the honor of representing Local 1693 in over ten different Building Trade Councils, advocating for our members, strengthening relationships across the trades, and ensuring our local has a strong, respected voice wherever decisions affecting working members are made.
Today, I serve on the Board of Trustees of the Carpenters Pension Fund of Illinois, where protecting our members’ hard-earned retirement benefits is a responsibility I take seriously. I also serve on the UBC Midwest Millwright Committee and the UBC Distribution Committee, continuing to work toward unity and strength throughout our Brotherhood.
I believe strong unions are built on trust, unity, and accountability—and that brotherhood means never forgetting where you came from or who you represent. My record reflects steady, proven leadership and an unwavering commitment to putting members first.
Call to Action
This election is about more than a title. It’s about who you trust to lead, who understands the work, and who will always put the membership first. I have spent over two decades earning that trust on the job, in leadership, and at every table where our union’s future is decided.
If you want experienced leadership, a proven voice for Local 1693, and a President who will defend our work, protect our benefits, and stand firm for our Brotherhood, I respectfully ask for your vote.
Stand with proven leadership.
Stand with accountability.
Stand with Local 1693.
Solidarity,
Nathan Hodgson
